Recycling bins for as low as $1 per bin
Ecosystem Events offers recycling bins for rent in Indianapolis and central Indiana. Our bin rental service is perfect for weddings, festivals, neighborhood events, weddings, races and sporting events, and any other event where you want to keep waste out of the landfill.
Available to rent:
- 40 ClearStream recycling bins (20 blue, 20 green)
- 20 blue plastic recycling lids
- Sign kits
- Sandbags
- 5-gallon buckets
Equipment Information
ClearStream bins are easy to set up and fold flat for transport. To best fit the needs of your event, we offer each bin component separately for $1 each:
- Folding metal frame
- Blue plastic lid
- Sign kit – Frames and plastic sleeves to display your own signs (perfect for instructions and/or recognizing event sponsors)
- Sandbags to stabilize bins in windy conditions
- 5-gallon buckets for beverage waste
We also offer recycling bags for purchase along with your rental, guaranteed to fit the ClearStream bin frames. Recycling bags are made with minimum 10% post-consumer recycled content and are available for $2.50 per roll of 5 bags.
Rental Policies
- You may rent any quantity of bins between the minimum of 5 and the maximum of 40.
- A flat equipment maintenance fee of $30 will be applied to each order.
- Payment must be received in order to reserve the equipment for the requested dates.
- Renter must pick up & drop off equipment at the Ecosystem Events storage facility on Washington St. on the near east side of Indianapolis. Optional pick-up and delivery service is available for $100 each way.
- Equipment must be returned within 7 days from date of pickup. For each bin frame or lid not returned, renter will be charged a fee of $150. For each sign kit component not returned, renter will be charged a fee of $30. For each sandbag or bucket not returned, renter will be charged a fee of $10.
What should I do with the recyclable waste after the event?
The renter is responsible for properly disposing of the recyclable material they collect. For small events, we recommend depositing the recyclables in your at-home collection bin or finding a recycling drop-off location near you. For large events, we recommend renting a roll-off recycling dumpster from your local waste hauler (Ray’s Trash, Republic Services, etc.). Please refer to the published list of accepted items for the recycling service or drop-off location you choose, and only deposit accepted items.

Interested in renting compost bins?
Compost bin rentals are considered on a case-by-case basis. To prevent contamination, compost bin rentals are required to include either on-site staffing assistance or pre-event volunteer training. We also have approved compostable serviceware that we can provide for free (depending on the size of the event). Contact us to discuss compost bin rental and available free supplies.
