Happy new year! I’m looking forward to 2021 being a year of renewal and recovery, as I’m sure you are too.
In line with that theme, I’m starting this year with a change: Julia Spangler, Sustainable Events Consultant, is now Ecosystem Events.

Why the new name?
First and foremost, over time my work has grown to include more than just myself. I have a stellar team of contractors who help me book and execute our services. Continuing to call the business by my own name just didn’t feel accurate anymore for how we work now and where we may go in the future.
Second, I was captured by this definition: An ecosystem is a community of organisms together with their physical environment. Sounds like an event, doesn’t it? I love how this definition highlights the community aspect of events, as well as the fact that when we gather, we have an impact on our surroundings. At Ecosystem Events, we help ensure your gathering has a healthy and balanced relationship with the environment we all share.
